Encyclopedia of Ephemera by Maurice Rickards. {I’ve actually used this and its pretty cool in a history/archival geek kind of way.}
Freedom Rider Diary from Jackson City Jail
“Joan Mulholland kept a diary of her time in the Jackson city jail. The jailed riders wore their own clothes in Jackson, and Mulholland was able to hide a pencil and several sheets of crumpled paper in the hem of her skirt. When she was transferred to Parchman, she had to wear prison-issue clothing, but on her release, when her clothes were returned to her, she found the diary safe and sound, still hidden in the hem of her garment.” Via Breach of Peace
Stephen Hebron, the curator of Shelley’s Ghost, introduces some of the major objects in the exhibition and gives a fascinating personal insight into the lives of the people it portrays. The video also includes a welcome and acknowledgements from Richard Ovenden, Keeper of Special Collections and Associate Director of the Bodleian Libraries.

John Lennon’s To-Do List. Via Brain Pickings.
“As a bibliophile, I was thrilled to see a fragment of Lennon’s reading list — including this book on the mystery of the Hope Diamond, an unnamed tome by Norwegian adventurer and ethnographer Thor Heyerdahl, and Margaret Trudeau’s Beyond Reason, a memoir about life as a wild hippie flower child turned Prime Minister’s first lady — as well as mundane errands like fixing the bathroom hook and all-too-relatable tediums like being home when the cable guy shows up.”
